How do I submit my CD order? [Back]

If you place your burnt order onto a CD-R/RW in your photo dealer's store and also wish to collect the goods from the store, use the option "Burn CD leave with / collect products from photo dealer".

Click this option and then press "next". A form opens for the details that are required for the ordering process. If you have a voucher, do not forget to enter the voucher number.

If you check "Save personal details on hard drive", you will not need to re-enter these details in a subsequent order.

Click "Next".

All burners connected to your computer will be offered to you to select from. If you encounter problems during burning, you can alternatively produce an ISO image and burn a CD using a different program such as Nero. Select the required burner and set the writing speed suitable for your burner and your CD-R/RW and click "Next". The data will be prepared (a CD image will be created). You will be asked to insert a CD-R/RW.

Click "OK" to confirm when there is a CD-R/RW in the burner.

The burning process then starts. Done! Please place the burnt CD in a photo order bag at your photo dealer's store and hand it in. That completes the order process.

Warning:

Please follow this procedure.

MCF files which are simply copied onto the CD and burnt do not contain any order information, such as your address or the number of photo products and cannot be processed in production.

Why is my order being returned without being processed? [Back]

If you have submitted a CD order for processing and it has been returned to you without being processed,

there are two possible explanations:

The most likely explanation is that there was no order on your CD. That means you did not place your order through the software and burnt the CD using a burner program installed on your computer. In this case the information on the CD will not be sufficient to print the required CEWE PHOTOBOOK. It is therefore essential that you always place your order using the CEWE PHOTOBOOK software.

Another possibility is that there is an error on the CD which makes it impossible to read your order data.

In both cases, your order should be placed again and a new order CD should be burnt.

How do I make a complaint? [Back]

If there are grounds for complaint, we handle it differently depending on whether you selected postal delivery or collection from the store. If you ordered your CEWE PHOTOBOOK for postal delivery, please contact our Customer Services by telephone or e-mail.

If you have received your CEWE PHOTOBOOK order in a store, you should complain through that store. To do so you should ideally place your CEWE PHOTOBOOK in the original packaging, enclose the order bag with the order CD if you did not order online, and briefly set out the reason for your complaint. You should then send this entire order back to us through the same store.

What do I do if there is a colour fault in my photos? [Back]

Incorrectly reproduced colours or colour faults in your CEWE PHOTOBOOK may be caused by the Automatic Image Correction setting in the software. If you find a fault in your CEWE PHOTOBOOK causing colours to be reproduced incorrectly, we ask that you make a formal complaint so that the responsible laboratory can check the details of your order.
